At Sculp’d, we use the Emsella chair in Alexandria to help men and women between 18 and 75 years old. However, there are conditions that can make you ineligible for Emsella.
You should avoid Emsella if you are:
- Pregnancy
- Metal implants (IUDs, pacemakers, hip replacements, etc.)
- Bleeding disorders
- Recent surgery in the area
- Electronic implants
- Pulmonary insufficiency
- Drug pumps
- Hemorrhagic conditions
- Anticoagulation therapy
- Pulmonary edema
- Congestive heart diseases
- Deep vein thrombosis
- Acute infections/wounds in the treatment area
- Fractures or dislocations near the site of application
Emsella strengthens your pelvic floor to help you in multiple ways.
Patients experiencing mild to severe urinary incontinence may notice fewer leaks and have more control of their bladder. Along with combatting urinary incontinence, Emsella can also improve mild to moderate sexual dysfunction. It can tighten the vaginal canal to improve sexual sensation.
