You know, you’ve heard it over and over “boost your immunity”. Sounds good, but just how do you do that? Well, take a page from our notebook and commit to doing this every day. Especially now and to help protect yourself.

I can attest that lifestyle affects your immune system. And there are few easy steps you can take to help get you there. Based on my personal functional, integrative doctor, most people should be taking these supplements every day:

  • Vitamin C – 1000 mg, 2x/day – morning and night
  • Zinc – 30 mg/day
  • Vitamin D – 5000 IU/day
  • Selenium – 100 mg/day

In addition to the above supplements, there are also the obvious healthy lifestyle steps that are hopefully already a part of your daily life:

  • Don’t smoke
  • Exercise regularly
  • Drink alcohol in moderation.
  • Get adequate sleep.
  • Now more than ever, wash your hands frequently
  • Try to minimize stress

That’s it. As Yoda says, “do or do not, there is no try”. Life is not a dress rehearsal sculp’d squad.
